Record study achievement of another university

The name of the other university is recorded here. By typing in the name, universities will be suggested. If the corresponding university is not displayed, it is typed on and the full name is entered with the location and country.

If the grading system of the other university differs from the one at ETH Zurich (best grade 6, pass 4, minimum grade 1), the “Highest possible grade”, the “Minimum pass grade” and the “Lowest possible fail grade” from the other university is recorded here. This information is needed to convert the grades to the ETH grading system. If the grading system is the same as at ETH Zurich (best grade 6, pass 4, minimum grade 1) or no grade resulted, the checkbox “equivalent to ETH Zurich (maximum grade 6, minimum grade 1) or no grade” is ticked.

The number of the study achievement as designated by the university can be recorded here.

The title of the study achievement in the original language (as it is named at the other university) is recorded here.

If the name of the study achievement in the original language is not English, the title of the study achievement in English is recorded here.

The result of the study achievement is chosen from the list:

• Pass
• Fail
• No show (no result and no performance review)

If the study achievement resulted in a grade, the original grade is recorded here.

The original credits awarded by the other university are recorded here.

Each requested study achievement must be included on one of the supporting documents.

Written approval for study achievement can be in the following form:

• E-mail of the supervisor with listing the study achievements
• Separate document with listing the study achievements and the supervisor's signature
• Supervisor's signature on the study achievement (e.g., academic record)
• Approved learning agreement
  

If a study achievement is to be credited in several categories with different credit points, for each category a separate record must be created.
