Do you feel nervous completing an interview and do you want to practice it beforehand? Or maybe you have never had a video interview and are unsure of what to expect?
More and more companies are using video interviews at some stage in the hiring process which means that you can certainly count on a video interview in your near future. The ability to shine in a video interview requires some skills and savvy beyond basic job interview best practices.
The Career Center offers students and doctoral students the opportunity to practice their interview techniques using a video interview training program. The goal of this interview training is for you to experience and to practice answering different types of interview questions that can arise in a face-to-face, phone or video interview. It can help you in various ways, for example:
- Learn to structure and deliver excellent answers for a competency based/strength based interview within a strict timeframe.
- Take away the dread and fear of sitting in front of a camera without direct feedback from an interviewer
- Practice completing an interview in English/German when English/German isn’t your first language.
Once you complete the training, you will receive a feedback from the Career Center within a week.

- Send a short email request together with your CV and a job ad of a position you will apply or that you could imagine applying for to
- Indicate in which language you would like to practice the interview (English/German)
