Scholarships
There are many scholarship opportunities that can facilitate self-organised stays abroad.
Heyning-Roelli Foundation
The Heyning-Roelli Foundation supports talented students who are in financial need with contributions to their travel and accommodation costs. The target groups are primarily:
- Bachelor's and Master's students who would like to study one or two semesters at a partner university as part of an exchange programme
- Master's students who have been invited by an university outside of Europe to write their Master's thesis
Applications are assessed individually and favourably.
Application deadline for exchange with focus on courses
- 20 April, 24.00 CET of each year for Autumn Semester
- 20 October, 24.00 CET of each year for Spring Semester
Application deadline for Master's thesis outside of Europe
Applications are possible at any time.

Scholarship for Master’s degree students and doctoral students.
