ETH Card
After enrolling for the first semester all continuing education students receive an ETH Card. This card serves as a photo ID, an electronic ID and a library card. All ETH members are automatically members of the ETH Library.
Validation and validity
The ETH Card should be validated every semester. Cards validated in one semester are only valid until the end of the second week of the following semester. Validation must be undertaken at one of ETH Zurich’s validation terminals after enrolment in myStudies.
Loss/Replacement
You will receive your ETH card from the relevant issuing office. This is also the point of contact for questions and problems.
A replacement card costs CHF 25. The replacement card can either be obtained directly at the desk of the Campus Info in the main building (HG D 34.1) - please bring your ID or passport with you - or ordered in the webshop.
Note: Replacement cards due to a new photo can only be ordered in the webshop and cannot be obtained directly at the desk!
