Time-Bandwidth Products AG

Time-Bandwidth provided high-powered and ultrafast lasers for the industrial and scientific markets, in particular tuneable laser systems and those generating pulses in the pico or femtosecond range. In January 2014 the spin-off was acquired by JDS Uniphase Corporation for 15 MUSD in cash. After the acquisition Time-Bandwidth changed name to JDSU Ultrafast Lasers AG and was integrated into JDSU's Communications & Commercial Optical Products ("CCOP") business segment. In August 2015 JDSU split off of the CCOP business segment, which continued under the name Lumentum Holdings. As of 2017 the operations still remained in the greater Zurich area.
