Zurich – Irchel

The Irchel campus is home to two professorships in the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences (D-CHAB) and an institute run jointly with the University of Zurich.

The Academic Sports Association Zurich ASVZ offers an attractive sports programme on site at the external page Irchel Sports Centre.

From Zurich main station

Take tram no. 10 (direction Flughafen or Bahnhof Oerlikon) from the "Bahnhofplatz" stop to the "Irchel" stop: journey time 13 minutes.
By tram no. 14 (direction Seebach) from stop "Bahnhofplatz" to stop "Milchbuck": journey 12 minutes.

From Zurich Airport railway station

Take tram no. 10 (direction Zurich Bahnhofplatz) to the "Irchel" stop: journey 26 minutes.
It’s about a 5-minute walk from all stops through Irchelpark.
You need a valid ticket for zone 110 (city of Zurich).

Drive from Zurich Central in the direction of Schaffhauserplatz to Milchbuck. From here "Universität Zürich-Irchel" is signposted.
Motorway from Basel or Winterthur/Schaffhausen/St. Gallen: Take the Zurich City exit - direction Schwamendingen - follow the "Irchel" signs.

Bicycles may only be parked in the signposted bicycle parking spaces.
Parking spaces are located at buildings 13, 21, 23, 25, 55 and at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
