Textual Framework
This page describes the textual versions of the ETH Competence Framework.
There are two textual versions of the ETH Competence Framework: a short and a long version:
- The short version provides an overview of the ETH Competence Framework, briefly describing the twenty competencies and competency domains.
- The long version includes the description of knowledge, skills, and attitudes for all the competencies. This version is useful, for example, to formulate learning objectives or gain a deeper understanding of the framework. The long version is available in an A1 poster format (one page) or as a digital booklet (four pages).
Additionally, we created two versions (short and long) of the framework that can be read with a screen-reader (screen-reader version). As for the other version, the documents include all the twenty competencies and, for each of them, a general definition. The description of knowledge, skills and attitudes learning outcomes is provided in the long version. If you plan to publish or share any of the textual versions (short or long) about, the screen-reader versions must be added to enhance access to the ETH Competence Framework.
All the materials are available in English and German.
