Congressi Stefano Franscini (CSF)

The Congressi Stefano Franscini (CSF) is a division of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Zurich (ETH Zurich).

It is responsible for the promotion, selection and funding of international meetings and phd schools. The location of the CSF on Monte Verità above Ascona is unique with its wonderful view of Lago Maggiore.

The invitation is open to all professors of Swiss universities. For larger events (50 - 110 participants) the deadline for submission is the beginning of October and mid-January for events in the following year.

Arrival and information about the location

Free shuttle bus from Locarno (on arrival day)

On the arrival day a free 9-seated shuttle bus will take you to Monte Verità. The schedule should be published on the website of the conference you attend. Please contact the conference organizer or visit the CSF homepage if you are looking for more information on transportation options.

Once you reach Ascona the road leads you to a pedestrian area in the old town centre. Shortly before the “no entry” sign, turn uphill to the right and follow the sign “Monte Verità”.

Free parking for 50 cars is available at Monte Verità.
