The following are also considered to be ETH-external persons:

All students and doctoral students of those universities which have no official cooperation agreements with ETH Zurich
All students of universities of applied sciences

Fill out the Download registration form (PDF, 273 KB) and submit it along with a current ID or passport copy by email, post or at the counter of the Registrar's Office.

Semester	Registration window
Autumn Semester	1 August until the end of 2nd semester week
Spring Semester	1 January until the end of 2nd semester week

Important: No registrations will be accepted after this deadline.

Will be emailed to you by the Registrar's Office.

Auditors with an active registration will automatically receive a respective email from the Registrar's Office to their ETH email address.

for the Autumn Semester: approx. mid-July
for the Spring Semester: approx. mid-December

Enrollment in course units no later than the end of the fourth week of the semester. After that, the definitive billing will take place.

The fee is CHF 60.00 per taken weekly semester hour, up to a maximum of CHF 730.00 per semester. This corresponds to the Fee ordinance for the ETH Domain.

The semester invoices are sent out from the fifth week of the semester onward directly to your ETH email address.
