SmartVNS is a wearable, non-invasive brain stimulation system for rehabilitation after a stroke. The system is designed to be accessible and intuitive to use, and has the potential for faster and more efficient recovery with fewer clinic visits and at a lower cost. SmartVNS will allow therapists to conduct quantitative assessments and provide continuous, remotely-accessible updates to their patients, enabling patients to undertake cutting-edge neuroscience-based rehabilitation even from their homes.
