Seismic calculations

How the InSight mission toMars was prepared with the help of calculations from the supercomputer "Piz Daint" at CSCS.

The Atlas V rocket with the NASA InSight spacecraft left California on Saturday, May 5th, heading for Mars. (ETH News has reported). A new article on the website of CSCS, a service and research unit of ETH Zurich basid in Lugano, now shows which preparations have been made to calculate the data analysis of the motion of seismic waves on the surface of Mars.
