ETH-EPFL Summer Schools
ETH Zurich and EPFL each year fund selected summer schools that are organised by doctoral students from the ETH Domain. This is a great tool to put together the perfect programme and to try out what it is like to organise a larger event.
One of the objectives of the Summer School Programme is to enhance exchange between EPFL and ETH Zurich students. The organising committee, who also hands in the application, must therefore consist of doctoral students from both universities.
Similarly, doctoral or Master students of both universities should be the main target group of the planned summer school. At least two thirds of the participants must be enrolled at either of them. The remaining participants may join from other Swiss or international institutions.
The programme aims to sponsor new summer schools. Proposals for courses that already took place in previous years might still be considered but will not take priority.
