Quantum physics is unlike anything we experience in our daily life. To grasp the rules of quantum mechanics, it is necessary to abandon the human intuition - limited by our senses - and dive into the "Pond of Possibilities."

Art duo Pors & Rao are developing an animatronics platform, external pagePATHOS, for effective motion and response at external pageWyss Zurich. It consists of a modular toolkit that can imbibe physical objects with lifelike, emotive qualities.

What if robots could consider creative and complex solutions without human intervention?
Endowing robots with a human-level of dexterity drives computer scientists and robotics engineers alike. The PuppetMaster lays the groundwork for considering how future robots and humans will interact in creative ways.
PUPPETPHONE
What if imaginary characters could step outside of our heads and engage with the real world?
PuppetPhone transforms digital characters into animated puppets that users can manipulate with the physical movement of a smartphone. Game Technologists embed the puppet into the real world using augmented reality.

What if you could plant a chicken?
Planted Foods AG, a start-up company based in Zurich, is a spin-off from ETH Zurich that produces plant-based meat to meet the growing demand for sustainable protein. Only a handful of carefully selected, natural ingredients are used: pea protein, pea fiber, canola oil & Swiss water.
