Previous Work Experience
Anja is specialized in the field of IT law, corporate law and Research Project Agreements.
She passed her second state examination in law at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne in 2012. She then worked for a corporate law firm in Berlin.
In 2015, she joined the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), where she played a key role in setting up a new third-party funding department. In particular, she was responsible for contractual relations between the European Space Agency (ESA) and DLR.
In 2016, she was recruited by ESA as Contracts Officer and was legally responsible for the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation within the Global Navigation Satellite System (GALILEO). The main objective and challenge were to ensure Europe's independent access to space and the development of competitive space technologies.
She also provided training in Contract Law and IP Law throughout Germany.
In January 2022, she joined Picnic Germany and was elected in Summer 2022 as a shareholder representative on the Supervisory Board of Picnic GmbH.
