D-​EAPS: Earth and Climate Sciences, Earth Sciences

Special considerations / prerequisites

• Exchange students have to take a minimum of 20 ECTS credits and a maximum of 30 ECTS credits per semester and can choose them freely from all levels of courses in the Earth Sciences programme. In doing so, 2/3 of the ECTS credits should be earned in courses of D-​EAPS (course numbers beginning with 651-​...) or, if applicable, in courses of D-​USYS (701-​...) by arrangement.
  
• Exchange students can also usually write a research project or their Bachelor's or Master's thesis in one of our three research institutes.
  
• It is important that the curriculum is coordinated with the curriculum of the home university.
• The opportunity to shift examination or for distance exams has to be discussed with the lecturers at the beginning of the semester.
