Application opens annually at 1 November and ends at 1 February.

Formal evidence is not required, but you will need a professional level of English in order to participate fully.

No. Eligible students enrolled at universities throughout Europe may apply.

Students already enrolled as undergraduates at one of the host universities are encouraged to apply to the other four universities. 

Yes. It is your responsibility to acquire the necessary visas to attend your respective summer programme (in the UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, or Sweden) and the symposium in Cambridge.

The ETH Student Exchange Office will help scholars with this process.

An official academic transcript is a document that summarises a student's academic progress and performance to date, and should include the University and degree programme title, and grades for each course module taken.

You will probably need to ask your university to provide you with one and it may take a while to produce.

There are different start and end dates due to varying university timetables.

At ETH Zürich all Summer Programmes take place during July and August. 

At ETH Zurich the opportunities are offered in Zurich by the

  • Department of Health Sciences and Technology
  • Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering 

and in Basel by the

  • Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering
