In order to better understand the calendar year at ETH, and to become familiar with dates for important ETH-wide meetings ("conferences"), professors are encouraged to take a look at the meeting dates overview for

The main events page features special lectures, symposia, exchibitions and more.
One part of the events page highlights inaugural lectures (given by new professors), as well as farewell lectures. This page also has videos of archived lectures from the past
New professors of all levels are expected to attend the new faculty orientation, during which members of the executive board, including the president, will offer a special introduction to ETH specifically for faculty taking on a new professorial role.
