Changes to ETH’s internal communications

The Corporate Communications department will make further improvements to the internal communication channels next year. The measures are based on the results of an extensive survey of all ETH employees and will ensure that they receive more information that interests them. Here’s an overview.
Return to remote working from home and only academic events allowed

As of Monday, all ETH employees will be required to work from home again. Most buildings will only be accessible using an ETH card and will now only be open for academic events. In-person teaching and examination sessions for the Autumn Semester can finish as planned.
Another virtual end to the year – including Christmas magic
The traditional Christmas event was held virtually for the second time due to the pandemic. One of the highlights was the farewell to Rector Sarah Springman, with an almost magical atmosphere as the baton was handed over to her successor Günther Dissertori.
