Where to put the content of the context column?

This question cannot be answered in general. There were different kinds and purposes for the content in the right context column. However, what is relevant to consider is that content in the right column was at the bottom of the page on mobile devices and only in the right column on desktop view.

Inline with a consistent structure of content no matter the device, the content must be hierarchical and in the content area of a webpage. Therefore, it will be important for authors switching their legacy content pages to the wide page to consider the entire page content and to determine where the information belongs relevant to the existing page content.

In many cases, the information in the right column was supplementary information and therefore, the bottom of the page will make sense. However, if for example the information was important and needed to be seen initially by a user on page load, then it may need to be moved closer to the top of the page.

In the case of inherited content, the author will need to decide whether the information was simply inherited but not really needed for the page or whether it is actually needed. If it is needed, then before switching parent pages, one may need to copy component information to the content area of a subpage before making the switch of a parent page with inherited content on subpages below.

For content that must be absolutely consistent and inherited on multiple pages, then the Paragraph reference component is available, but this should only be used in special cases and not used for all general content on pages. There is also a limit in the system as to which components can be referenced by a protected pageParagraph reference component.
