Mountain cabin
As part of the Hans Ziegler Fund, the Glen Haven log cabin in the vicinity of Boulder/Colorado (USA) is available to ETH Zurich researchers for study visits during the summer months. Users of the cabin receive a travel grant that covers a large part of the travel costs (flight, transfer).

The Hans Ziegler Fund serves to support talented and motivated researchers and students at ETH Zurich in recognition of the work of Prof. Dr. Hans Ziegler (1910 - 1985).

Prof. Dr. Hans Ziegler was appointed to ETH Zurich in 1942 and headed the Institute of Mechanics until 1977. As a researcher and teacher, he was a role model and innovator for his students and society. He used his "Mountain Cabin" during his lifetime as a retreat and place of study in the summer months.
The log cabin can be used from June to September - it is not winterised.
