Results/credits
Submission of grades and results
All grades/results may be entered via eDoz
For end-of-semester and session examinations:
Do not enter any grade but select the check box entitled “Drop out from the performance assessment or no show”.
For semester performances:
The check box entitled “Drop out from the performance assessment or no show” may only be selected if:
- clear registration and withdrawal deadlines have been announced for the performance assessment in the lecture,
- the performance assessment was not carried out despite registration.
In all other cases, this check box must not be selected as course enrolment is not equivalent to registration for the performance assessment.
(There are students who attend lectures out of personal interest, without wishing to obtain credits).
Times for the submission of grades and results via eDoz:
- Start:
As soon as the date questionnaire is published in eDoz.
- As a general rule:
As quickly as possible please so that students may register for repetitions in good time.
- Deadline for the notification of students concerning examination results (including grades):
For the winter examination session: No later than Friday of week 8 (first week of the semester)
For the summer examination session: No later than Thursday of week 37 (last week of the semester vacations)
Please note:
In particular, grades for end-of-semester examinations which can be repeated during the same semester should be submitted as quickly as possible so that students can register for repetitions online.

- For students, all of the decreed achievements, together with the number of credits obtained, are listed in myStudies.
- The Administration Offices decree the performance assessments on a periodic basis, including shortly after the grading conference.
- The final academic records are sent to students in writing by post.
- For all other grades and results, students will receive an e-mail from their Study Administration Office. This lists all courses for which the grades/results have now been decreed.
The actual grades/results can be viewed in the transcript of records in myStudies.
- Once they have received the results, students have thirty days to request an appealable decree on the results, if they believe that the performance evaluation is unjustified.
