Managers of keys
Key managers are authorised ETH employees who approve key requests for premises in their area of responsibility and the relevant building access.
Tasks and responsibilities
Key managers know both the people and the rooms that they are responsible for. They know who has access to where and which rooms require special attention.
Key managers review and approve key requests. If necessary, they correct the request. This is how the right key reaches the right person. If a key goes missing, they assesse how serious the loss is, inform the Info + Service Center and arrange a replacement.
Key managers ensure the smooth and secure handling of keys at ETH Zurich.
