Parking at ETH

At the Zentrum and Hönggerberg sites, ETH Zurich offers paid parking spaces for cars as well as free parking spaces for motorcycles, e-bikes and bicycles.

Car parking at ETH Zurich requires payment. You will find everything you need to know about this in the parking regulations.
Please note that motorbikes have to be registered before you can use the parking facilities.

Parking facilities and prices

Wheelchair users arriving at ETH Zurich by car will find specially marked parking spaces and barrier-free, signposted access to the respective campus as follows:

Campus Zentrum

  • in the underground passage below Polyterrasse, left side of eLink bus stop
  • As well as in the multi-storey car park on level D, accessible via Karl-Schmid-Strasse.

Campus Hönggerberg

  • in the multi-storey car park P2 on level A (lowest level)
  • As well as in the multi-storey car park P1 on level C, section 3.

 

Free parking:
Wheelchair users will receive a free exit ticket at the respective Campus Info upon presentation of their parking ticket.

¹ ETH-Hönggerberg and ETH-Zentrum

One of ETH’s strategic goals is sustainability. This involves promoting sustainable forms of mobility and not creating incentives for private vehicle use. Accordingly, ETH is gradually standardising charges for the Hönggerberg and Zentrum sites and aligning its parking fees to the market price.

Note: Prices valid for employees of ETH Zurich and partner organizations with valid ETH card or ID.

Work-related parking permits are only issued directly to secretariats of teaching, research and administrative units. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the permit is not used to circumvent a regular parking permit.
