Description
Employees of ETH spin-off companies on the ETH Zurich campus.
Purpose
Use of premises within the framework of ETH Zurich spin-off guidelines for a transition phase to ensure proximity to ETH infrastructure.
Requirements
- Employment of staff by a spin-off company recognised by ETH Zurich
- Rental agreement or user agreement
- Limited to 2 years (max. 3 years)
Work and residence permit
A work and residence permit cannot be obtained via ETH for this guest category. This must be secured from the guest's employer or from the guest themselves if the guest is staying in Switzerland.

Notes
- ETH Entrepreneurs initiates the guest applications for employees of spin-offs who rent space in the WEC, SWS or PFA buildings.
- Guest applications for employees of spin-offs who rent space in the research groups (all except those mentioned above) are registered via the respective institutes. If there is a research cooperation, the employees of the spin-offs can also be recorded as guests in the “Research collaborations” category.
