Participants	ETH employees who need to procure hardware and software, IT services and cloud services and would like to gain an insight into IT procurement within ETH.

Learning goals	Participants gain an overview of the procurement processes for IT services and are familiar with the various procedures for carrying out such procurements.
Content	The following topics are covered: Introduction to public procurement Procurement guidelines within ETH Zurich Procurement procedures and thresholds General procurement process of the Confederation Responsibilities of requisitioners / ID Procurement and Compliance Timing of WTO tendering "big picture" Stumbling blocks Special topic: Procurement of cloud services Procurement via "ETHIS" (ETH Information and Support System)
