Photo competition: your favourite places on the Hönggerberg campus
We’re looking for ETH members’ favourite places on the Hönggerberg campus. Submit photos of the places where you most enjoy spending time on campus and you could win some great prizes.
What makes the Hönggerberg campus unique? Where are your favourite places? How do you spend your time on the Hönggerberg campus?
Photo competition
We are interested in finding out where your favourite places and what your favourite activities are on campus. Where do you like spending time?
In October, we (the Real Estate Management, Services and Corporate Communications departments) are running a photo competition in search of ETH members’ favourite places and activities on the Hönggerberg campus – after all, the campus is one of ETH Zurich’s two main locations, and is a place for leisure as well as for study and research.
The photos don’t necessarily need to have been taken this year, as the Hönggerberg campus’s history dates back to 1955: older photos have their own appeal.
Conditions of participation
Details: To enter successfully, you need to submit a short image description (in the form of a sentence) and a rough date for when the image was taken, as well as your name and relationship to ETH.
Image format and quality: The photos must be submitted digitally and should be a minimum of 1,500 pixels.
Copyright: By participating, you confirm that you hold the copyright for the photo submitted and have all rights to it, and that all identifiable individuals in the photo have agreed to it being published.
Publication: By participating, you agree to ETH Zurich using the photo on ETH’s own channels.
Relationship to ETH: Participation is open to members of ETH. You must therefore send the photo from an ETH Zurich email address.
Send us a photo of teaching, research or leisure on the Hönggerberg campus to by 31 October 2018, including a sentence describing why you like this location. Photos from all perspectives are welcome.
Judgement criteria
A small jury consisting of representatives from the Corporate Communications, Services and Real Estate Management departments will judge the photos by the following criteria:
- Depiction of the unique atmosphere and the particular features of the Hönggerberg campus
- Compliance with the conditions of participation described above
Prizes
There are three main prizes to be won:
1st place: Voucher worth CHF 100 for FUSION coffee
2nd place: Gift card worth CHF 50 for the “Coop to go” range
3rd place: Gift card worth CHF 20 for the “Coop to go” range
There is also a chance that your image may be used on the ETH Zurich website.
