Fulbright Specialist Program 2024

The Fulbright Specialist Program allows you to invite an expert from the U.S. for a period of 2 to 6 weeks to your group to work with you to deliver workshops or seminars, develop academic curricula or training, lecture or conduct assessments, and build up long term academic relationships and collaboration

Your proposed program should start at the latest in fall 2024.

How to find a specialist:

• You already know the specialist, who is on the Fulbright Specialist Roster
• You already know the specialist, who is not yet on the Fulbright Specialist Roster. No problem, the expert will receive guidance on how to be added to the Roster
• You do not know a specialist: by describing who you need, the Fulbright Specialist program will propose several experts who you can choose from.

Normally the program is based on cost-share. For proposals submitted by 28 February 2024 to the US Embassy in Bern, all costs will be covered by the Fulbright program.
