Adrian Meyer was full Professor of Architecture and Design in the Department of Architecture at the ETH Zurich beginning in October 1994, from 2001 to 2003 he was Dean of the Department of Architecture. He retired end of March 2008.
Adrian Meyer was born in Baden, Switzerland, in 1942. He studied architecture at the Winterthur Technical College. After a year of studies in New York and Philadelphia he founded an office in Baden at 1970; Burkard, Meyer in Baden. The firm ist engaged in a broad spectrum of architectural design activities, including urban design, public and institutional projects.
Between 1991 and 1993, Adrian Meyer was a guest professor at ETH Zurich. He was one of the founders of the Cityshape Commission and the Trudel foundation for Contemporary Art in Baden and Member of the Zurich Construction Colleg.
