Filesharing via cloud.scientifica.ch
For exhibition booths
All files that we need for the creation of the exhibition walls are stored on a common file sharing platform at cloud.scientifica.ch. Each project has its own space on this platform, there you can
- store raw data
- review drafts
- release print versions
This should simplify the exchange of materila for the exhibition panels. In addition, large files can be sent back and forth more easily than by e-mail.
How does it work?
The contact persons of each project receive a login on external pagecloud.scientifica.chcall_made with their e-mail address as user name. They are administrators for their project and can give other users access to the share. How to do this is described in the manual: external pageNextcloud User Management.call_made
Uploading and downloading is quite intuitive. A user manual can be found in your project space at external pagecloud.scientifica.chcall_made or online at: external pagedocs.nextcloud.comcall_made.
A fixed folder structure is already created for the exchange:
You can also create your own folders within your project folder. Contents in these folders can also be viewed by the project team.
If you create folders outside the project folder, the project team will not have access to them!
Use as guest
If you are not running an exhibition booth, you can use external pagecloud.scientifica.chcall_made to provide us with large files (e.g. videos) for the website.
To do so, you can log in to external pagecloud.scientifica.chcall_made with the guest account. The login data are: Scientifica / sc2023start!
When uploading files, either create a folder with your project number or start the file name with the project number (e.g. for project WS44: "WS44_my-video.mov").
