Anatomical Collection of Domestic Animals: From 1871 into the digital age

After three years of dedicated work, Florian Trepp and his team have successfully catalogued and photographed approximately 2000 objects in the Anatomical Collection of Domestic Animals at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, ETH Zurich, led by Susanne Ulbrich. The collection, which includes some antique specimens, is now available to the public in the virtual world of the nahima (Natural History Collections Management digitally) database by the ETH Library.
Building bridges to the future: the ETH campus goes digital

The program “Digital Twin – Building Bridges to the future” aims to create a digital twin of ETH's entire campus infrastructure by the end of 2028. This will lay the foundation for a future-proof campus that will secure the framework for ETH Zurich's excellent research and teaching.

ETH Zurich is committed to providing transparent information about its animal experiments. A new website offers insights into its animal research, presents the projects currently under way and provides details of how often and for what purpose animals are used in experiments. It also explains how ETH Zurich reduces, replaces and refines (3R) animal experimentation.
Informatiktage 2025: How AI, data and robots are changing medicine

At this year's Informatiktage, ETH researchers and spin-offs will be showing what they are contributing to the medicine of the future. On Saturday, 29 March, visitors will learn, for example, how AI helps to detect endometriosis or how blood clots will be removed with robots in the future.
