In the first series of meetings chaired by the new President, Joël Mesot, ETH Zurich’s Executive Board made provisions for ten new professorships. It also concluded the project to optimise occupancy of the ETH Main Building and created a more permanent structure for the Critical Thinking Initiative.

New administration of ETH passwords in the "Web Center"
Since April 15, 2019, the Web application "Web Center" has to be used to manage passwords and other functions. The tool and the look have changed, but the URL has remained the same.
Safely disposing of hazardous waste

ETH Zurich produced around 130 tonnes of hazardous waste in 2018. Thanks to digital records, the disposal of hazardous waste can now be better monitored, as the Safety, Security, Health and Environment department’s annual report shows.
