Have a heart for vaccination

A small jab with a big effect: the new vaccination campaign of the Federal Office of Public Health has been running for a few weeks now. In its support, ETH Zurich is launching its own campaign today, which will run primarily on social media.

The Federal Office of Public Health’s new information campaign on the COVID-19 vaccination has been running since mid-May. It focuses on the message “Have a heart for us all”. It underlines the important contribution made by those getting vaccinated to containing the pandemic and how they are having a heart for their fellow human beings by doing so. The campaign reminds the population that now’s a good time to inquire about making a vaccination appointment.

ETH Zurich is providing its support by launching its own campaign on social media today. Its slogan “Have a heart for ETH Zurich” and a plaster in the shape of a heart are accompanied by images and text based on the Federal Office of Public Health’s campaign. Members of the ETH community provide quotes about why the COVID-19 vaccination is so important to them personally, including ETH President Joël Mesot, Rosa Visscher from AVETH, Luca Dahle from VSETH and Klaus Eyer, Professor of Functional Immune Repertoire Analysis at D-CHAB.

Since the ETH campaign is being launched primarily on social media channels Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram, the ETH members’ quotes and entire campaign text are in English. The campaign will also be displayed on screens in ETH buildings and on the eLink shuttle bus.
