New standards platform available with access extended to IEC standards
Search standards on a new platform and view now also the IEC standards for electrical engineering, electronics and information technology.
As of now, standards can be searched on external pagethe new platform norml, which offers numerous improvements, such as the full-text search. Access to the previous platform is still available until 31 March 2023.
In addition to the existing standards from ASTM International, DIN (DE), Electrosuisse (DE), IEEE International, INB / SM / ES / SIA National / SIA International (DE/FR), ISO (EN), and VDI (DE), the IEC standards are now also available.
The IEC is an international standards organization in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics and information technology. It unites more than 170 countries worldwide and offers a global, neutral and independent standardisation platform. IEC standards serve as the basis for risk and quality management and are used in certifications to check whether manufacturers’ promises are fulfilled.
For licensing reasons, the standards portal external pagenormI is available to members of ETH Zurich only.
