Dr. Norbert Staub

Norbert Staub studied History and German at the University of Zurich. After completing his studies he worked as scientific assistant at the faculty for Contemporary German literature and earned a doctorate. He taught at secondary schools before freelancing as author for various newspapers in Zurich and a radio station. At St. Galler Tagblatt he was background and media editor. He joined Corporate Communications in 2001, where he was responsible for the then new online magazine ETH Life and the internal newspaper ETH Life Print. In 2006 he took over the newly created position of issues manager, and from November 2011 to summer 2016 he was head of the Internal Communications team. Since September 2016 he had been Deputy Head of Corporate Communications as well as responsible for institutional affairs and issues management. As of September 1, he is a member the Office of the President and responsible for ETH Zurich's political relations.
