First Executive Board town hall meeting of 2022
On Wednesday, 19 January, the town hall meeting took place, where members of the Executive Board reviewed the past year and looked ahead to 2022. The recording of the Zoom event is now available.
After the Christmas event had to be held virtually again in light of the coronavirus numbers at the end of 2021, the same applied to the town hall meeting to kick off the new year. During this event, the Executive Board members took stock of the year 2021 and outlined which topics and challenges they thought would be important in the new year. Joël Mesot, Detlef Günther, Julia Dannath, Vanessa Wood, Robert Perich and Ulrich Weidmann talked about Switzerland’s relationship with Europe, animal testing, the growth of ETH – and of course about the pandemic. In addition, Günther Dissertori was introduced as the next Rector of ETH.
To close the town hall meeting, all ETH members were invited to ask questions of the Executive Board members.
