Internationaler Frauentag
Seit mehr als 100 Jahren wird der Internationale Frauentag am 8. März begangen. Der Tag soll die bisherigen Errungenschaften der Frauenrechtsbewegung feiern, die Aufmerksamkeit auf bestehende Diskriminierung und Ungleichheiten richten und dazu ermuntern, sich für eine Geschlechtergerechtigkeit einzusetzen, auch an der ETH Zürich.
Der internationale Frauentag macht allen einmal mehr bewusst, dass die ETH Zürich ohne das vielfältige Engagement der Frauen nicht so stark wäre, wie sie ist. Ob im technischen oder administrativen Bereich, in der Lehre oder in der Forschung: Frauen bringen neue und wichtige Perspektiven ein, die uns alle gemeinsam innovativer und erfolgreicher sein lassen! Es kommt auf ein produktives Miteinander an – die ETH Zürich schenkt diesem Miteinander grosse Bedeutung. Atmosphärisch und von den Anteilen her soll die ETH Zürich ein Ort sein, an dem Personen aller Geschlechtsidentitäten auf Augenhöhe miteinander studieren und arbeiten, lehren und forschen und ganz generell kreativ und innovativ sind.

05.03.2025 - Women in Science Panel Discussion (EN)
In celebration of International Women’s Day, several female associations and diversity groups at ETH Zürich (WiNS, feMTEC ETH Zürich, SWISH ETH, CSNOW – Network of Women in Computer Science, LIMES ETH) as well as ETH Diversity are organising the panel discussion "Women in Science". Women Professors from different departments will talk about the experiences of women scientists at ETH and share their insights, followed by an apéro and networking session— a great opportunity to meet peers across disciplines and exchange ideas on diversity and inclusion. externe Seite Register here
